When you submit an enquiry through our website we collect your name, business name, email address, telephone number, and the details you provide about your energy contracts and broker. We also collect any documents you choose to send us.

We do not collect special category data (such as health information) and we do not knowingly process data about children.

We use your data to assess whether you may have a claim, to contact you about that assessment, and to progress a claim if you instruct us. We do not use your data for general marketing unless you have explicitly agreed to it, and we do not sell or rent your data to third parties.

Where a matter requires litigation, we may share relevant information with the specialist solicitors we work with. We may also share information with your energy supplier or broker to obtain commission data or negotiate a settlement.

Lawful basis

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry records for as long as necessary to assess and progress a claim, and for a reasonable period afterwards to deal with any queries, complaints or legal claims. If we do not take your matter forward, we will normally delete your data within 12 months unless you ask us to keep it.
